Spanish legend Manuel Orantes to be inducted to the International Tennis Hall of Fame
Manuel Orantes, the Spanish tennis star of the 1970s and 1980s who captured the 1975 US Open title and played an instrumental role in Spain’s Davis Cup efforts for many years, will be inducted to the International Tennis Hall of Fame this year.

III Robert Abdesselam Trophy

Spain wins the 39th Potter Cup
The IC of Spain has won the 39th Potter Cup, XVIII Campionat Internacional de Catalunya de Veterans, IX Gran Premi Generalitat de Catalunya, which was hosted once again at the RC Polo of Barcelona and organized by the IC of Spain and the Catalan Tennis Federation during the weekend of 27 - 29 May 2011.

Returning Hope to the city of Sarajevo
In October 1995 at a dinner at the RCT Barcelona-1899, the mayor of the City of Barcelona, Mr. Pascual Maragall, asked the President at that time of the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona-1899 to create a Tennis Tournament at the city of Sarajevo to give hope to the youth of Sarajevo (after the war). The Town Hall created then the XI District of the City of Barcelona under the direction of Teresa Sandoval. This project took care of helping managing the City of Sarajevo after the war and helped out in its reconstruction.

KIM CLIJSTERS wins IC JEAN BOROTRA SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
The award is made periodically to a player who has shown either in a single match or throughout his or her playing career the outstanding standard of sportsmanship commensurate with the objects of the International Lawn Tennis Clubs (ICs). The relevant objective of the ICs is to “develop, encourage and maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship and understanding among players of all nations AND AMONG YOUNG PLAYERS IN PARTICULAR”.

1st Trofee Robert Abdesselam
From September 22-25, 2009 the First Trophee Robert  Abdessalam has been played at Villa Primrose, Bordeaux, with the participation of the IC France, IC Belgium, IC Great Britain and IC Spain.  The winner of this first edition has been the IC of Great Britain by 4-0.  The representatives of the IC of Spain have been: Jorge Camiña (captain), Luis Flor, Rosa de Togores and Encarna Gomis.
